Creative Process and
Collaboration
After years of building expertise through formal musical training, I use the gathered experience in a precise and goal oriented way, aiming to create the most fitting sound palette for every project I'm working on.
When preparing for a new collaboration, a comprehensive understanding of all the subtle psychological and emotional characteristics are essential for my process. Careful listening, flexible and honest communication, as well as attentive reading of the script whenever it is possible - those are my most valuable assets for creating a deep connection with a story.
In the final stage, I use my musical expertise to bring the ideas to life through sound. Shortly put, I don't make music for the project, but instead an organic sonic experience together with the project.
Classical Education and
Modern Composition
At the age of 6 I started with piano and music theory lessons, which I later continued with formal training in classical piano performance. After completing my bachelor studies in Belgrade, Serbia and master studies in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the desire to create my own music led me to Hamburg, Germany, where I also completed a formal training in composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.
As I was evolving as a composer, I discovered that my passion for writing original music is often strongly driven by the desire to tell stories and describe subtle psychological and emotional states through music. This realisation motivated me to dive into the world of music for film and TV and taking on the first projects already during the studies, one of them being TV-drama Rekonstrukcija (2021), which was produced and broadcasted by Radio Television of Serbia.
After the formal training, I focused on expanding my sound palette by exploring and mastering other aspects of modern composing, such as sound design, combining traditional and modern sounds, as well as creative production techniques for tailoring unique soundscapes.
